• It is very useful to moisten the baby’s nose with saline solution (sea or sodium salt solution), especially if the snot thickened and poorly separated. It can be purchased at the pharmacy, you can get it yourself by adding a little salt to the hot boiled water. An overdose from such a solution is impossible to achieve, in order to make it easier to instill the baby’s nose, use a pipette or an aspirator in the form of a pear (you need to collect a full saline aspirator for better pressure, and add just a couple of drops to one nostril, then to another). Not necessary and even dangerous:

• Try to prescribe treatment for the baby yourself.
• Try to drip breast milk into the nose of a son or daughter, as is sometimes advised. Advisers are oriented approximately on the following: breast milk is full of various useful substances that are sure to deal with a runny nose.It is worth remembering that any milk is the best medium for bacteria, which will definitely say “thank you” for such a holiday of life.

• Try to instill in the baby the drugs that are prescribed not with acute respiratory infections, but with allergies. This is dangerous, since it can cause swelling of the mucosa in the crumbs.
• Dripping the baby is not age-appropriate or giving antibiotics.
