I do not vaccinate children

I’ll tell you my story about how I came to the conclusion that I did not vaccinate my children. I will give a few arguments and explain my decision. I’ll tell you about my mistakes and about who was able to help my child recover when he was sick without stopping.

In order not to raise unnecessary questions, I’ll say right away that I’m not confident in my actions. And, in general, I am not a supporter of radical decisions. Therefore, before going for it, I thought for a long time, asked, recognized, read.

I don't vaccinate my children

So, I’m the mother of three children. The elder was given all the necessary vaccinations that needed to be given up to school, the middle one - the first few, and the smallest was never vaccinated at all.

Did as the doctor says

The eldest son was born in 2001. At that time, few people knew about the Internet, but there was no need to talk about consultations with private doctors. They believed only the local pediatrician, they always agreed with him, including about vaccinations. They were vaccinated according to the calendar. There were no reactions after vaccinations, the temperature did not riseother symptoms did not bother. And this is the only thing that worried me at that moment.

Then the son went to kindergarten. He started to hurt constantly (“AS EVERYTHING”) - a week in the garden - two houses. SARS was complicated by otitis media, then sinusitis.

As it turned out later, adenoids became the cause of the sores. The doctor, of course, was followed by a recommendation to remove them. I began to look for more acceptable and painless options. One of the doctors recommended making an appointment with a homeopath. Frankly, this kind of medicine did not inspire confidence in me. But by that moment I was ready to turn to anyone, if only they would help my child, who was constantly ill, even when he was at home.

To my surprise, the doctor helped (I won’t go into the details of the treatment). A positive trend was confirmed by several otolaryngologists. It is still not clear how the medicine that the doctor prescribed for us worked, but the result was good, which could not but rejoice.

Do I need to be vaccinated?

At the time of the birth of my second child, I was already more or less savvy in this matter. I learned from the book of Dr. Komarovsky that there could be serious complications after vaccination. To avoid this, I went through all the necessary laboratory tests with my daughter, and only then we were vaccinated.

In the evening, I found a small spot on the child’s hand, first pink, then red. Over time, it turned into an oozing wound. Daughter's legs were like sandpaper. No diets prescribed by the doctor helped us. Then I turned to the homeopath again. From a conversation with him, I learned that he is an ardent opponent of vaccination and that, most likely, the development of atopic dermatitis is associated with vaccination. He also said that many mothers turned to him with complications caused by vaccinations.

I seriously thought when I found out that my friend got sick with tuberculosis while being vaccinated, and a neighbor’s girl was put on a mental retardation. Doctors strictly forbade vaccination, otherwise, the child could die.

I began to search on various forms of information. I learned that complications can really be terrifying, but no one has died from measles and mumps. I compared the pros and cons and decided that I wouldn’t do vaccinations for my children anymore. And that's why:

  • contrary to popular belief, I’ll say that vaccinations do not treat and do not protect against diseases (I was convinced of this from my own experience, since many friends were ill with the sores from which they were vaccinated);
  • the diseases we are vaccinated against are not as bad as the consequences after vaccinations.

We are for not vaccinating

I do not enter into polemics with doctors and ardent advocates of vaccinations. I say that we will not do it yet, but we'll see. Those who shout that I am not worried about the health of their child have learned to ignore. Yes, I have never vaccinated my youngest son, and I will never do this. Many of my friends and acquaintances agree with this. They, like me, refused vaccinations.

For those who are afraid that the child will not be taken to kindergarten due to the lack of vaccinations, I will say that this is not prohibited by law.

And further. In no case do I agitate. I don’t even know how to. Solve only to parents. I just told my story, and how I came to that decision.
