Thoughts and the desire to earn money without leaving home appeared on my maternity leave. The kid went to the garden, but like many children, he was constantly sick. Naturally, there was no question of going to work. I wanted to do something interesting, and of course, that my occupation would generate income. I wanted to have some kind of my own money, and not ask my husband for every little thing, and then listen to me that I spend too much and do not know how to save.

First attempts

My first experience at home was unsuccessful. I joined the marketing pyramid. I had to make a payment, and then engage in mailing to attract new members who, like me, would contribute their money. A lot of time and effort was spent, but no result. I could not even return the money invested.

Then I registered on one of the copywriting exchanges. At first it seemed to me that nothing worth making money by writing articles would not work. All the orders that were offered to me as a beginner cost a penny, and there were a lot of requirements. I refused such orders. I advise you to do the same: own work must be respected!

First difficulties

I was very lucky with my first customer. Despite the fact that he was very demanding, he treated me patiently: he always went towards me and explained obscure points. I already began to feel confidence in my abilities, as I made a mistake. I took an order on a legal topic, but could not achieve the desired uniqueness. The customer gave me a bad rating, and my rating fell. Fortunately, my first customer continued to work with me. I was able to raise the rating and slowly moved on.

The most difficult thing for me at the initial stage was to achieve high uniqueness of the texts. With this I always fiddled for a very long time. But with experience, uniqueness has ceased to be a problem.

Like many newcomers, I worked almost days, but the earnings were small. This happened because they still paid me a little, and writing articles took a lot of time. But my rating, professionalism gradually grew, the circle of customers expanded. There are people who constantly work with me, I already know their requirements and can be sure that I do not have to expect any unpleasant surprises from them.

What is important for those who earn at home

Work at home is not only a solid plus. Serious difficulties arise with freelancers, which must be learned to overcome. For those who work for themselves, organization and discipline are very important. For example, at first I had the habit of putting off work until the very last moment. As a result, I had to write at night, which affected the performance, and the quality of the texts, my well-being and appearance.

Social networks, news on the Internet and household chores distract from work, so you need to clearly plan your day.

It can also be noted that when working as a copywriter, there is not enough live communication. But on the other hand, not everyone can boast of a good team, with which they have excellent relations.

Copywriting is a sedentary job. You need to be able to be distracted, walk more, move, ride a bike, visit the pool or gym.

There are times of downtime. Sometimes there aren’t enough good orders (especially in the summer), sometimes fatigue or just no inspiration.

But there are many pluses from working as a copywriter:

you are not dependent on bosses and bosses, who are often just unbearable;
you plan your work time and rest time;
no need to spend time on the road to the office;
no need to buy business suits and worry about the code;
you get money constantly, and not once a month;
You can spend time with your child and family;
You can go on vacation and work remotely;
your earnings depend only on you, there is no framework;
work is always there, regardless of where you live and where you are;
less stress and nervous expenses.

In addition, copywriting promotes self-development. Thanks to a variety of orders, you study all the time, begin to understand various areas: construction, medicine, law. I sincerely like what I'm doing now.

My achievements

For more than two years I have been working as a copywriter. I got my own style, I quickly print and can create interesting, high-quality and unique texts. I gradually raised the price of my services, and now I am trusted by large, interesting and highly paid orders.

We divorced my husband, and copywriting allows me to support myself and my child. I constantly set new goals in terms of the number of written characters and the size of earnings, and I successfully achieve them. If you like to write, then you can easily make copywriting your main source of income and succeed in this difficult, but interesting and enjoyable business!
