Mom’s experience: what and how I eat breastfeeding

Hello everyone, you are Julia and my daughter Mia. One mom once asked me how old Mie was when I started eating raw vegetables. I said that I started eating when she was a little over a week. I would start from the first week, but in the maternity hospital they fed only cereals and soups. So, what and how I eat breastfeeding.

Firstly, I eat everything, absolutely everything that I ate before the birth of Mia, during pregnancy, before pregnancy. The trick is that every new product needs to be introduced gradually, every 3 days. This is so that you understand what your child is allergic to and do not guess what you ate so interesting. That is, if I ate a tomato, then the next three days I will not introduce anything new and watch the reaction. If Mia is not sprinkled, if there is no allergic reaction, then continue to eat tomatoes. And after three days you can introduce a new product.

Secondly, I eat varied, but I prefer seasonal vegetables and fruit. This recommendation is not only for nursing mothers or for pregnant women, it is basically for people who want to eat normally.

Thirdly, I eat balanced. Of course, during pregnancy I gained a few pounds, and I wanted to lose them as quickly as possible, but quickly does not mean good. This can adversely affect lactation, so a better diet is a balanced diet. Proteins, fats, and carbohydrates should be in the diet.

Also for good lactation I drink a lot of fluids: tea, weak coffee with milk, stewed fruit, but at the same time I drink a lot of water, since water is responsible for all the processes in hiring the body. Therefore, I highly recommend drinking your norm of water per day. I have about 2 liters.

I do not blame myself for the colic in the baby. It has long been proven that colic is the maturation of the digestive system in a baby. Imagine, he gets everything through the placenta in his mother’s stomach, and then he needs to eat and digest. The child just needs to get used to it.

I do not blame myself for allergies. Do not immediately go on a diet if you see a rash. In fact, you could not find out differently whether the baby is allergic to this product. Contact your pediatrician, it may be sufficient to simply minimize the use of this product, rather than completely eliminate it.

I prefer natural products, because food additives and dyes most often cause allergies. For example, if I want sweets, then I prefer a small piece of natural chocolate or homemade cheesecake, rather than a cake from the store.

Do not forget about snacks.I understand that with the advent of a small child there is not always time to eat, so I always have dried fruits, fruits, cookies at home, and when I am going for a walk I make myself tea in a thermos and also take some cookies with me. This allows me to calmly walk, not rush home and not remain hungry.
