The reasons why the child does not sleep well.
- Wrong daily routine. The child does not have enough time to sleep. A one and a half year old baby should sleep at night for at least 10.5 hours, during the day - from 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
- Lack of rituals at bedtime. The actions of parents should be repeated - this can be a bath, a light massage, a kiss, reading, drinking or brushing your teeth.
- Discomfort in the nursery. Bright light, stuffiness, noise from the street, an uncomfortable diaper, as well as a toy that distracts attention - all this interferes.
- Overwork. Too emotional games, cartoons at night and tiredness will not let him fall asleep quickly.
- Active phase of learning. When the baby learns to walk, talk or learn new games, he is in an excited state for a long time.
- Feeling unwell. Any disease or growing teeth adversely affects sleep. In any case, it takes time to get back to the rituals before bedtime.
