Some kids have enough quiet music or a lullaby to fall asleep quickly. Others are lulled by mother's light stroking. The third is enough nipples - and they are already quietly sleeping in the crib. Which method is best for your baby can be determined by trying different stacking options.
Massage
The baby will be able to fall asleep quickly from stroking with her delicate mother's hands. Calm, measured movements with palms or fingers will help calm the baby, relieve tension and relax. In addition, massage will be beneficial for muscles and ligaments.
Start massaging your face: gently slide your fingers over your forehead, eyebrows and cheeks. Then make a few circular movements clockwise along the tummy and chest. Stroke the arms and legs of the baby in the direction from the periphery to the center. Complete the massage by stroking the back.
During stroking, pronounce your child tender words in a calm, quiet voice. The kid already remembered the voices of his parents, while in the womb. When he hears a familiar timbre, he will feel safe, calm down quickly and begin to fall asleep.
Lullaby
Mom's soothing song is a truly magical tool! It was used by mothers and fathers of many generations. At the same time, any song can become a lullaby for the baby, if performed correctly. And no matter what language you sing. The main rule is melody and monotony. A gentle mother's voice and calm intonations will serve as a good sleeping pill for the baby.
Motion sickness
Another of the ancient ways to help a child fall asleep quickly is motion sickness. In the arms of the mother, the baby will feel protected and will gradually fall asleep. Light swaying will remind him of the time when he was in his mother’s tummy. The main thing is not to overdo it with swinging. The movements should be smooth and with a small amplitude.
One of the ways will surely help to fall asleep precisely to your baby. And soon the baby will go to bed without her mother’s help.
