Rest in the country - this is mostly a deterioration in living conditions. You must admit that not all country houses have such familiar conveniences as water supply, sewage, heating and gas. But this fact does not bother avid summer residents, because such a vacation has more advantages than disadvantages. Especially for children. So, why is a summer cottage so good for a child?
Fresh air
City air is saturated with exhaust fumes and road dust. The air in the country is completely different: the aromas of needles, flowering trees and shrubs soar in it, and nearby rivers and lakes fill it with life-giving moisture. Do you know how much air a person consumes per day? Almost ten times more than food. Our health and, of course, the health of our children are directly dependent on the quality of the air around us. No wonder they say that it is easier to breathe in the country and let the child “clean the lungs”.
Long walks
Gathering a child for a walk in the city is a real test. In the country, this process is greatly simplified: shod - and run to the street. And walk at least all day! And, if the weather permits, you can eat and even sleep on the street. In the city this will not work.
Products from your garden
Fragrant cucumbers and tomatoes directly from the garden, strawberries, raspberries, apples and plums ... And all this is your own, grown with love and without chemistry. And in the village, one of the neighbors will probably find real fresh milk, cottage cheese, fresh chicken eggs and natural honey.
Healthy sleep
Even the most restless babies who cannot sleep at home for hours sleep in the country like dead. That's what outdoor activities and fresh air do with children!
Immunity increase
It's no secret that a child who was barefooted in the grass in the summer, wet in the warm rain, bathed in the river and sunbathed in the sun - in winter it will hurt much less than a child who spent the whole summer in the city.
Rest for mom
Surely there will be relatives in the country (grandparents) who will gladly take on some of the hassle of caring for a child. Even the neighboring kids, who started a fun game, can take your child for a while and give you a little rest.

Where you can see graceful butterflies and fireflies shimmering in the dark; watch how a spider weaves its web, watch the stars and make wishes when one of them falls; study animals and insects, plants and fungi; help grandmother grow vegetables and fruits, and then cook dinner from them together; chop firewood with grandfather and learn how to heat the stove with them? Of course, in the country!
A change of scenery
Changing the environment is useful not only for adults, but also for children. This provides an incentive for some to grow up and develop, for others - to reconsider their attitude and be very enthusiastic about things that have bothered during the winter, for example, lessons.
Communication
In the city, we are always busy, all the time in a hurry somewhere, talking on the phone and hanging out on social networks. Cottage is a great opportunity to relax from the bustle of the city and talk with your child, try to become closer with him. Well, the unique summer cottage atmosphere, birdsong and crackling from the bonfire are the best place for heart-to-heart conversations.
Unforgettable childhood memories
Perhaps for parents the summer cottage is not something special (it can be a chore - long fees, physical labor), but for children it is a real adventure! After all, here you can build a hut or a tree house, dig a treasure and draw up a real map for its search, fly a kite into the sky, arrange gatherings around a fire ...
