Yandex.Taxi has launched a new “Children's” tariff in St. Petersburg. More than 3,000 cars are equipped with child seats and boosters, 1,200 of them with Cybex seats, purchased with the support of the Agusha brand. Now passengers with children can call a car with one or two seats for children of different ages.
Only top-rated drivers can travel with children. They undergo additional training, learn how to properly install and configure seats, communicate with parents and correctly respond to the behavior of young passengers. The Yandex.Taxi staff developed a course for drivers in conjunction with psychologists at the Institution of Pre-school Education and Family Education.
Pre-selected cars will arrive for orders at a tariff.
Especially for the launch of the "Children's" tariff, we purchased Cybex Aura Fix chairs, which are suitable for children from one to 12 years old. They comply with the European safety standard ECE-R44 / 04 and have received high marks on the tests of the German automobile society ADAC.
We also allowed some of the seats and boosters that taxi service partners had had before to work in the tariff. They were carefully selected by Yandex.Taxi employees. During the inspection, the manufacturer and model were checked, as well as condition and age category compliance.
The cost of supplying a car under the new tariff is 149 rubles with a child seat and 99 rubles with a booster. The price includes 5 minutes of free passenger waiting. This is more than in other tariffs - there should be enough time to seat the child and make sure that they are securely fastened.

Investments of Yandex.Taxi and Agushi in the new service amount to 80 million rubles. Most of these funds were used to purchase 8300 Cybex Aura Fix child seats, which Yandex.Taxi partner parks will receive in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Omsk.
