The joyful experiences of childhood give strength and inspiration. The benevolent attitude of parents is remembered on the subconscious and helps creative disclosure of personality. Negative memories can develop insecurity and complexes, aggression and secrecy. The main thing is to know which events are the cause of failure in adulthood. Psychologists have characterized 12 major childhood factors that affect the rest of a person’s life.

All problems from childhood

  1. If the parents do not recognize the child as an independent person, do not reckon with his desires and aspirations, and make all decisions themselves, then this can lead to him becoming helpless. Such children suffer from their own lack of will and are dependent on the opinions of others. It is important for parents to learn to trust the actions of children. It is wrong to consider a baby helpless and in need of of permanent tips.
  2. If a boy is brought up by a loving and caring father, with whom his son has a close emotional relationship, then such a baby will grow up to be a real man, able to build healthy and full-fledged relationships with representatives of the opposite sex. Dads who have emotional contact with their sons can teach the manifestation of warm feelings for a woman, sensitivity, compassion, attention and kindness. This can be a guarantee of a happy family life for the boy in the future (read: father's allowance in raising a son).
  3. Constant parental control in childhood can lead to the fact that children grow up stubborn. For them, stubbornness is a protective mechanism by which they try to resist the decisions of their parents. Growing up, they do not lose this trait.
  4. If a child watches TV too often, this can lead to a suppression of his communication skills in the future. Psychologists recommend watching TV no more than two hours a day. The rest of the time it is advisable to spend on communication, reading, drawing or playing together.
  5. If a child in childhood is allowed to watch programs in which there are scenes of violence, then this can lead to the development of aggressive character traits and various mental disorders in the future, because children involuntarily copy the behavior of the heroes and remember this model as normal.
  6. If children imitate their parents by copying their behavior and actions, they grow up open for communication. They are sociable and easily share their opinions with others, without experiencing difficulties in the dialogue.
  7. If the child is often punished, he can grow secretive. Such children, in order not to get caught, will try to outwit or hide the results of their bad behavior, which can lead to the development of negative character traits such as stubbornness and revenge. 12. If parents break up when their children are between 3 and 5 years old, then the future lives of such children are characterized by strained relationships with their parents, especially with their father.

In my life there was a case when my parents divorced; at that time I was 15 years old; I just quit talking to everyone because my parents didn’t just have time for me; they already had other families. My opinion is better to get a divorce when the children are small, they somehow perceive it to the heart less than adults. I already have a child, we don’t bring him up for 2 years, we consider his opinion where he wants to go and that he wants to try to understand his tastes, what he likes best and which mugs he should give.

I completely agree with the first paragraph in the article. Parents raised me protecting from everything. They tried to do everything for me, they decided something for me, without asking for my opinion. In childhood, this is not particularly annoying. But now I’m 20 years old, it is very difficult for me to communicate with people, I’m an introverted person. It is difficult for me to make a decision myself without consulting with anyone, I am afraid of everything and beware.
